Baijha & Joyce Performing Arts Foundation

Honoring Their Legacy. Inspiring Future Generations.

The Baijha & Joyce Performing Arts Foundation was established in loving memory of Baijha Scott and Joyce Mathis, whose passion for music, creativity, faith, and the performing arts continues to inspire our mission.

Baijha Scott loved singing and dancing. Her vibrant spirit, creativity, determination, and love for the arts touched the lives of many. Following her courageous battle with breast cancer, her legacy continues through programs that encourage young people to pursue their dreams and develop their artistic talents.

Joyce Mathis loved singing and was known for her faith, compassion, dedication to family, and commitment to helping others. Her legacy of encouragement, service, and love continues to inspire the work of the foundation.

Together, their passion for the performing arts serves as the inspiration behind our commitment to providing opportunities for children and youth to discover their talents, build confidence, and develop leadership skills through music, dance, theater, and creative arts education.

Foundation Mission

The mission of the Baijha & Joyce Performing Arts Foundation is to empower children and youth through access to performing arts education, mentorship, scholarships, and enrichment opportunities that foster creativity, confidence, leadership, and personal growth.
